Area and online nurseries selling native plants

The Maryland Native Plant Society provides a list of 48 native plant nurseries, with website and other contact information.

The University of Maryland Extension Service provides a list of 32 native plant nurseries that have been certified as selling genuine Maryland native plants. Nurseries must have at least twenty percent of their inventory devoted to Maryland natives to achieve the lowest level of certification.

Maryland rebates on the native tree purchases

The Marylanders Plant Trees state program offers a $25 rebate for the purchase of selected native trees at 86 participating nurseries.
