Native plants are key to native habitat
This page provides links to information on how to select native plants suitable to your yard, where to buy good plants, and who to hire if you need help with invasives removal.
Native plants have evolved relationships with other native species. These interdependencies are key to sustaining biodiversity, which in turn makes for resilient ecosystems. (See Why Your Yard Matters for details.)
BTW, the plants don’t care if you plant them personally, so consider hiring help. The important thing is to get your yard full of natives!
